Richard Darmon
is a journalist in the French-speaking Israeli press, geopolitical analyst and lecturer. Settled in Israel since 1985 – after having started in Paris at Le Monde Dimanche then at the daily Liberation – he was the founder in 1990 of the French edition of the Jerusalem Post, of which he was the editor-in-chief until 1996. Collaborator of Paris-Match and several European dailies and weeklies, he was then from 1999 to 2008 correspondent for the French Jewish weekly Actualité Juive. Today, he directs the political section of the monthly Israel Magazine and hosts a bimonthly program of geopolitical analyzes at Studio Qualita entitled “Israel in its region – Israel in the heart of the Middle East”.
He is also the author of two collections of poetic texts and an autobiography entitled “From exile to another – Story of an identity in the making” published in April 2022 in Paris by Éditions Lichma.
